TNFα induces lipolysis by downregulating CIDEC via MEK/ERK-dependent PPARγ phosphorylation and nuclear exportation

CIDEC is a lipid droplet-targeting protein that promotes triglyceride accumulation and inhibits lipolysis. CIDEC is regulated by peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ).
